Returns, Warranty and Deliveries.
In the event that goods are to be returned to
Lynx for credit or warranty assessment, the following procedure must be adopted.
1. A Returned Goods Authorisation (RGA) must
be provided by the Lynx Warehouse Manager. This can be arranged by calling (02)
9767 4817 and briefly explaining the nature of the return.
2. If a claim is made for short or incorrect supply of goods, it must be made
within 2 days of receiving the goods.
3. Claims made for damage in transit or lost parcels can only be processed if
insurance has been taken at the time of purchase of the goods.
4. Goods must be returned freight prepaid.
5. The following documents must accompany the goods:
* RGA (Returned goods authorisation)
* Invoice number
* Date of invoice
* Detailed reason for the return of the goods
6. If the goods are being returned because the purchaser changed his mind, Lynx
reserves the right to levy a handling charge of not less than 15% of the invoice
value.
7. Lynx Corporation will not be liable for any costs incurred to remove or refit
a part to effect its return to Lynx for warranty assessment, irrespective of
whether the goods are found to be warrantable or not.
8. All goods are sold with Manufacturers warranty, and warranties will be rendered
invalid if the goods have been modified in any way or used for racing or competitive
purposes. Warranties vary depending on the product and the manufacturer's policy,
with full details available upon request from Lynx staff.
9. If goods have been returned to Lynx on the basis of being faulty, yet following
inspection by Lynx Warranty Department are found this is not the case, the customer
will be liable for the freight cost for the return of the goods.
10. Enquiries regarding delivery of goods will need to be directed to the carrier
nominated by the customer at the time of ordering the goods. However, to aid
tracking Lynx can supply the consignment reference number, details of which
are available from Lynx sales staff either by email or by phoning (02) 9767
4800.
